Hi,I made an original dump and removed whitelist, but after flashing the modded BIOS the laptop has black screen. No Post or beeps, just keyboard lights up and so does the touch sensitive F Keys. I have already tried re-flashing original BIOS dump, but get the same black screen, so I assume I must've gotten a bad read.
If someone has a known good dump I would like to try flashing it, as well as doing a compare to my original dump image. It would be very appreciated!Comment

I'll be trying to flash with flashrom on Raspberry Pi instead of the CH341a programmer... Not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?Comment

Another Lenovo X1 Carbon with the same issue here. Happens to them pretty much I think at some stage. Did you manage to get the BIOS reprogrammed or what was involved?Comment

TLDR: I would like to have the clean BIOS dump file for my laptop model.
Issue: First, my speaker wasn't working/showing up, so I downloaded the recommended BIOS update (from Jan 4, 2026) on Lenovo Support for my laptop. This didn't fix the speaker issue after restarting, so then I shut it down and pressed the power button for 60 seconds to perform a reset. I'm guessing I somehow messed up the BIOS because now the laptop won't turn on even after trying the NOVO button on... -

I’m looking for an original 32MB SPI BIOS dump to use as a reference in case my BIOS firmware is corrupted. My plan is to first dump and back up my own BIOS as soon as my programmer arrives. I am not planning to blindly flash someone else’s BIOS.

Hi everyone,
I've got a Lenovo Legion T5 26AMR5 (MTM 90RB001LUS, SN MJ0FTYZZ) on the bench that's giving me a bit of a headache.
The machine powers on normally. All fans spin, RGB comes on, and everything looks like it's starting up, but there's no display and no POST. It just sits there powered on.
So far I've swapped in known-good:- CPU
- GPU
- RAM
- PSU
The behavior is exactly the same with every combination.
I've also:- Cleared the CMOS
- Tried one RAM stick at a time in different slots
- Tested multiple video outputs/GPUs

- CPU: Ryzen 7 (Radeon Graphics)
- Board: KV483 / NM-F631
- BIOS chip: XMC 25R128 (16MB / 16,777,216 bytes)
- Region: India / IRU variant
- Condition: No power, no LEDs, no fan
- Laptop stopped powering on after a BIOS update
- AC adapter and DC-in confirmed OK (19–21V present)
- No shorts found on main rails
- SPI BIOS was read/written successfully with programmer (verify OK)

I have made two dumps of this bios, with the bios chip removed from the board and the hashes match on both dumps, but I cannot find the DMI information in the dumps except for the Windows product key, so I think it is corrupted. I have downloaded two bios updates from the Lenovo support site, but they contain small .PAT file, and 4 subfolders containing .FL1 and .FL2 files, which I don't understand enough to figure out how to use to fix my dump.
