Hi everyone,
I'm trying to recover a Fujitsu Lifebook E5513 (most likely 2023 model) that was bricked during a BIOS update. The update was interrupted (probably due to power loss), and now the laptop is stuck in a boot loop showing "PBB rollback" / "SBB rollback" messages.
BIOS access (F2) and Boot Menu (F12) are no longer possible – the system instantly reboots after the rollback messages.
I extracted the official BIOS update package from Fujitsu (contains FJNB2FD.CAP, ~18.7 MB) and tried tools like UEFIExtract, but it seems to only contain a partial firmware image. I'm planning to flash the SPI chip directly using a CH341A programmer, but I need a complete, working .bin image (~16MB). 🔧 Device info:
If anyone has a working Lifebook E5513 and could provide a dump of their BIOS chip, that would be a huge help.
Alternatively, if someone knows whether the BIOS from similar models (e.g. E5512 or E5412) is compatible, I’d also appreciate any insights or files.
Thanks a lot in advance – I’m happy to test and report back!
