Re: Password removal Asus All-In-One Z240IC
thanks peste, it worked (dau o bere)
However there was a small problem with the dump i posted the first time, aparently there was a bad contact while reading the chip and the dump is corupted.
Luckily before writing the file from peste i checked again the chip contents vs what i had previously saved and found discrepancies.
Writing the original dump resulted in no image displayed.
So i modified the new dump folowing the modifications peste made on the original dump and now everything is ok.

Password removal Asus All-In-One Z240IC
Hey guys,
I have this AIO from Asus( Z240IC ) motherboard: Z240IC rev 1.3
that has bios password. The password prompt comes on immediately after power on and the classic method with date code does not work(nothing happens whe i press alt+R.
Can someone help me clear the password from the dump?...Last edited by SMDFlea; 09-22-2021, 12:19 PM. Reason: Renamed thread title and moved to PC bios requests forum

Re: XPS 13 9360 no CPU power
1) 3.3 and 5V are present, same for voltages on other coils excpt for these2
2) it would be a logical conclusion, moultimeter reads about 450khz
Edit: managed to swap pu1000 and i get the same behaviour: no output for core voltages but VCC_SA is still operating the same wayLast edited by ytsoc; 09-14-2021, 11:31 AM.

XPS 13 9360 no CPU power
Hello , i came across this dell with water damage. after replacing some coroded resistors i have the folowing problem: PU1000 is not starting up, it does not start producing voltages for cpu.
You can find the schematic and boardview here
When i press the power button i get 3.3V on pin 40 for 1-2seconds, so it is receiveing a command to start but there is nothing on the output vcc core and vcc gt, however i get 1v on vcc_sa
When measuring pwm freq (multimeter, no osciloscope...

Re: Dell Latitude 7400 Bios Password 8FC8 Suffix
thanks, it doesn't work , i saw that the bios is perhaps newer because it looked a bit different(a warning message had a new design) .
Did you do anything about the OEM Public Key Hash?...

Re: Dell Latitude 7400 Bios Password 8FC8 Suffix
there is no original(chip not recognized by programmer after desoldering- temp might have been too high) , this dump is one i found on the internet(remont-aud).
I tried to folow the guide from win-raid forum, but this bios is the first to have OEM Public Key Hash and i never cleaned a bios like this. Original problem of laptop was bios password, with this dump in a new chip, i still have password but delayed start

Re: Dell Latitude 7400 Bios Password 8FC8 Suffix
can someone help me clean the me region for this dump of 7400? I damaged the original bios chip when desoldering. The laptop starts up with a delay of 20s.
I tried the normal procedure i use but it does not seem to work on this newer generationLast edited by SMDFlea; 04-02-2023, 02:50 PM.
