(key starts with 12 04 and ends with 01 03 FF and is after the TCPABBLK block).

I provided the dump.
If someone can explain to me how to sign the bios.

There was a nice tutorial somewhere about signing. Maybe it was in the bios-mods forums. Had to do it on my W541 after modding. Succeeded after third attempt because of stupid mistakes

You can disable this beep is bios setup like go security setting have option.
2nd option update bios in windows

Yes, exactly that tutorial. My mistake was that I extracted body of volume, not as-is.

So this is the LenovoTranslateService file I patched so it would accept any key.
I did test it on X260 and it did work well. But when I tested it on X270, there would be beeps but no display.

I know that 6th, 7th and 8th gen share the same LenovoTranslateService and BootOptions file (I compared patched files for different models). There may be another file needed ?!

Oh no!
I just tried using uefitool to replace bootoption and LenovoTranslateService with hacked fbd files and it locked up and said invalid key after inputting any key.

I tried flashing my original bios back but I get a blank screen, no beeps.

please help friends.

tried to indeed fbd files with uefi tools and flash it into an Lenovo t450s
now I got checksum error 5 beeps pause 5 beeps
I tried to resign them but hang on this point:
3. The block starts with TCPABIOS and ends before TCPACPUH
I can't find TCPACPUH I hex editor

Anybody knows what to you?
Ot try other fbd files?

I tried to replace the boot option and lenovotranslateservice but when I use uefitools to edit the dump and search for boot option I get several results for boot option
some body knows which one is the right one?
when I search ctrl+F lenovotranslateservice I got 1 result ( as expected )

Find lenovotranslateservice and then scroll up or down from it, there will be only one bootoption.
