Clip. I was able to reprogram the chip and read it back properly.
I also need a dump of the EC chip on the other side of the board....

I've done the dump many times. it always comes out the same and corrupt. I've not had any other issues like this with other chips, before or after these dumps....Leave a comment:

I lost the transistor at position Q115, its near ribbon cable that connects to the power button board. Can someone please send me a close up picture of it or the model type. Please n thanks -

This hp 840 g6 wont boot. I dumped the bios with a ch341a and it seems to be corrupted. Uefitool throws lots of errors.
Is it repairable?

Oh no!
I just tried using uefitool to replace bootoption and LenovoTranslateService with hacked fbd files and it locked up and said invalid key after inputting any key.
I tried flashing my original bios back but I get a blank screen, no beeps.

E580 thinkpad bios password removal.
I have been trying to figure out how to remove the password from a Lenovo E580 thinkpad without success.
Could someone please help. I've attached my bios. -

I had someone help me with the supervisor password for a T450s previously. The patched bios used the allservice program, but its special in that it effectively nulls the hardware ID mechanism.
