Looking for help would prefer to learn more than someone else performing the patch. I'm working on a L470, when I replace pe32 OR the entire file in both LenovoTranslateService and BootOption I get the same result. Melodic sound that translates into code 0285 (TPM initialization failure). I'm using UEFI tool and using the replace option. Just a little nudge in the right direction would be helpful. Still not correct, same melodic tune (beeps).
I have quite a few Lenovo's on hand, I'll try a T550 and a T450s. Both are currently unlocked, I'll create an SVP and test those out.

When I compare lenovotranslateservice and bootoption they come out the same in hex editor extract. Why does the patch I created not work compared to yours?
NEVERMIND I found it.. I was able to compare several files on here and found the changes.
FINALLY!!!! After comparing the files and using both a hex editor and UEFITool I was able to find my problem. I then used the original file and made a patch as well. When I run a comparison it comes back exactly as the patch xdrive55 created. Just had to replace one last region and BAM.. Will have to try it out. I need the UEFI-compatible version of NVIDIA MATS/MODS to test VRAM on a
laptop RTX 4070 GPU (GN22-X11 / AD107). My MSI Stealth 16 Studio laptop
is UEFI-only (no CSM), so I specifically require the mats.efi payload
that works on Ada GPUs.
Local repair technicians here do not have MATS/MODS versions that support
RTX 40 series, so I need the proper UEFI build (v2.0.0 or newer).
If anyone can share the correct MATS/MODS package for Ada (UEFI boot),
or any documentation on how to run mats.efi on RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs,... -

Hi, i have an ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS board, which had an shorted Z590 chipset. I have succesfully exchanged the chipset to a factory new one, however there is a serious problem with the Intel Management Engine (later on: ME) not beeing activated after the chipset device replacement.
For lower chipset families (on ASUS boards) it worked to program the oldest bios version into the SPI rom, and the bios had activated the Management Engine itself by default - there was a message on the screen prior booting - "BIOS is updating Management Engine ..... . Do not shut down to prevent...
