Hey Folks,

I have a Medion akoya E6424 MD99850 wich has no signs of life. This came from one on the other day. When I hit the powerbutton, it does exactly - nothing. No LEDs, no Fan, no Screen... The only thing is the charging LED shows up when the charger is plugged in. The charging LED shows up since i've took all the Batteries out (incl. the BIOS battery), wait for a while and put it all back.

This is why my idea was, eventually the BIOS is corrupt. What do you think? Is there any chance that it is? And here's the next thing, i can't find a BIOS dump for it, theres...

Yes, i used a clip to dump the UEFI, but i've read also, flash incircuit with the Clip is not a good idea and the chip have to be desoldered. But i thought, before i don't have a working UEFI, i don't desolder it.

I have now extracted the Me firmware from the UEFI dump and put it into the ME Analyzer. This then says that the file does not contain Intel ME firmware. I think that this is also the error. So how can I get the ME firmware into the UEFI so that I can flash it back?

Attached in the zip file are the two original dumps from the NUC, once the complete UEFI dump and once the ME dump from it....

I am very new to this business and i have some questions. Maybe someone can help me further.

I have a 2015 Intel NUC NUC6i3SYH and for some internet and office the computer works perfectly. Lately it has been bugging me a bit on and off. Then I saw there is a UEFI update from Intel and I thought if I put it on, the problems might be gone, but unfortunately the update didn't go through. The screen stayed black and after waiting for a while nothing happened, I had to pull the plug at some point. Of course, the NUC then failed to boot!
