    Firmware password on A1286 820-2850 A EMC2353

    Hi Everyone,

    Can someone please explain how can I remove firmware password from Mac-book A1286 820-2850 A EMC2353 i5 2.53ghz .

Do I need to flash the new dump? or I can remove the password from old dump using some method?
If I use the dump from ghostly hacks and replace the serial number would it work fine?

    Thanks in advance

Pre 2011 Apple Mac Firmware Password Removal

1.) DUMP EFI ROM from a EFI Locked mac (PRE 2011 Models) using a BIOS programmer
2.) Search the below HEX inside the Rom using a Hex Editor (Try HxD) :

                730065006300750072006900740079002D00700061007300730077006F0072006400

3.) Copy the Hex Between "00 00" "AA 55 7F" or "AA 55 7D" from the HEX Editor
                4.) Go to http://halflight.com.au/wp-content/u...8/macHash.html
5.) Paste the copied HEX code in to the Hash input field with % instead of spaces between HEX and click Decode. You'll have your password decoded. Enjoy!

Request for MX25VB8035F (1MB) Firmware Dump – Asus TUF Gaming H670-Pro
                  by Tamo Neko
                  Hello everyone,

I'm working on an Asus TUF Gaming H670-Pro motherboard and need help finding a firmware dump for the MX25VB8035F (1MB) SPI flash chip.

                  What Happened:
I mistakenly removed and erased this 1MB chip, thinking it was part of the main BIOS.
                  • I later found that the board has two main BIOS chips (8MB + 16MB), which I have backups for.
                  • My backup for the MX25VB8035F chip is just an empty 1MB segment filled with FFs, meaning I have no valid data to restore.
                  What I Need:
                  • A firmware dump for the MX25VB8035F chip from the same motherboard (or a compatible

                  by Mephysis
Hello guys i really need help, i recently updated my DS-7208HGHI-K1 and it somehow got bricked, I've got it up and working now by flashing a new dump file i found but the serial number is really wrong and the uploader of the dump file probably intentionally did it.

I still have the bricked dump file is it possible to transfer the serial number of the "bricked dump" to the "working dump"?

Lenovo P14s Gen 5 SVP unlock
                  by Syseng
This sums up discussion related to Lenovo P14s Gen5 in this thread. Credits go to Sbaro and especially Maxpower3. The locked dump is attached.

The device is based on NM-F871 motherboard with Nuvoton NPCK397 series controller. The motherboard also contains three BIOS chips: two different Winbond chips for main BIOS and external EC flash, and also a Gigadevice chip which purpose I do not know. The password information is contained directly in controller and thus can be manipulated by reprogramming it, so reprogramming BIOS chips is technically not required, however you may wish to make...

                  HP Omen 15-dh0052nf power-on & bios password
                  by Nopslide
Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.

My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).

Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....
