I need the bios dump of Asus X52JT ( MB : K52JT ) .

But i dont knew why the cpu fan works at max speed and dont stop

I downloaded bios versions for the k52jt from the Asus official website and nothing works, the processor fan turns faster and that's it. bios ala_borbe works. thanks!

High and constant acpi temp, low cpu, gpu temps

Hello everyone,

I need your knowledge and experience. I have an Asus K52J() laptop. I bought it from someone. The fan starts to rotate at a constant speed (~5200 rpm) 30 seconds after the computer turned on and continues until turned off.

CPU and gpu temperatures are around 35 degrees. Temp1 temperature is 88 degrees Celsius (not changing at all). The air blown by the fan is considered cool. Copper coolant can be called warm. No other problems.

It reads K52JT at the bottom of the case, and K52JT is written on the RAM slots. But Bios version K52JU.206. I re-flashed lower and same versions from Asus site but nothing changed.

I tried flashing the K52JT as it says under the case but WinFlash refused it (version does not match). Easyflash in the bios also showed the same error.

I also tried the dump file named "K52JT Fixed Clean ME" but it showed "file size is not valid" error (~4KB) and rejected it.

I don't know if the problem is in the bios, but the models are different (K52JT and K52JU) in the motherboard and bios.

I got 3 bios dumps with the help of FPTW.exe in case anyone wants to help. Every byte is exactly the same. They are also attached.

I'm tired of the fan noise.

So (finally) I solved my problem with the help of the file that ala_borbe added. I am grateful to ala_borbe for this. Thanks to forum moderators and the other members who answered my questions.

And an update... It doesn't start with just battery but if I plug the charger also and push the pwr butt it can trigger. Then if I plug off the charger (one sec after pwr butt) it goes on boot.

More, windows doesn't detect battery (notif. area) while the power coming only from batt. İt charges the batt and amber indicator led showing this but the led never turn to green.

Any suggestion please??

Thanks but I don't have. I bought it from someone. I don't know the reason but the bios wasn't originale, already. So, I don't have.

My device model is K52JT-SX172R. When I bought this it seemed to have K52JU in the bios but it was working. The only problem was that the fan was constantly running at maximum speed. The bios file attached to the post above (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...7&d=1445162421) solved the fan issue. But now I have a battery problem.

I wonder if cleaning ME Region in the bios file may have caused this battery issue? Can we check a value in the bios file that may be the cause of this problem with the hex editor?

Thanks for your interest and help. I'll keep this file in mind, but it's not the model on the motherboard label. I prefer the one that suits my model.

I wonder, if something go wrong while cleaning the ME Region?

Virgin dump for Asus K52JT - should be OK for your machine, try it.
