If that's a hybrid laptop(two video cards) then you should try to disable the Nvidia card in bios.
If I'm not wrong you have to install the Intel chipset driver first. Anyway you should have a normal resolution with the Intel graphics card even if the Nvidia is bad. If it's bad then you will get BSOD or lines on the screen.

hazardus like i mentioned , i tryed all ways , nvidia disabled , same shit , nvidia on and intel disabled same shit .. altough one thing i notice , if i have intel enables , or just intel , the device manager is with the yellow triangle meaning there are no resources , "try to remove hardware that are using same resources" message saying on the device)
.. and on bios impossible to disconnect nvidia , unless someone give me a good SLIC moded bios with option to disable grafic cards .
dam cmputer is sucking me all the bloody day

              Re: k53sv weird bios issue

ok with fresh windows install . both gpu without drivers have the yellow triangle , for INTEL tells me there is no enough free resources to use this hardware ,
the nvidia tells me that this device cannot be innitialized

                Re: k53sv weird bios issue

Interesting. If the Intel gives you the same result then there is a problem with the bios.
Of course if you installed all the drivers correctly.

hazardus , even without drivers for grafic it should never do this .. i should at least change resolution and the both hardwares should not give resources errors

If I didn't install the drivers for the N7110 then I couldn't set the resolution above 1024x768 I can't recall but maybe the default resolution was 640x480 but I'm not sure.

                                        Hi all,

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

                                        I...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                        by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                                        Troubleshooting Attempts:

After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

                                        Hello everyone.

I have L460 Type 20FV (2 X 8MB bios chips) with no boot issue after BIOS update (black screen with restarts, common issue on this model + BIOS update).

BIOS dump(s) from this post https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...7&postcount=27 makes the laptop boot absolutely fine, no delays, etc..

But there is an exclamation mark in the device manager for the LAN card right after fresh OS installation - LAN naturally doesn't work. I saw requests like "BIOS: fix LAN" on other sites.

Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...
