    • Provide the full machine model number, serial number (or Service tag, SNID) and the board model number (see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88758 ) ,The serial number, make, full model number, motherboard model and revision (except QR codes) must be written/typed at your request as per the rules. I mean, read the BIOS chip again with programmer, you attached the exact same file...
Does the laptop power on and has display? If not, post a clear picture of the QR code sticker on the motherboard, as with the BIOS backup you provided laptop won't display anything

Try, I used post 1 from lapfix as base, your BIOS was too damaged to rebuild, I don't have working clean BIOS for that model
If laptop powers on, update to 302 from ASUS website
                        https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-hom...l2Name=X1605PA
Select X1605PA where it says "BIOS model name" on ASUS website, download 302 "BIOS for ASUS EZ Flash utility", update from USB stick
                        Attached Files

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
                              by grimacelord
                              Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

                              ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                              by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                              Some issues
                              A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                              Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

                              Hi there,

I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..

I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash.....

I have an Asus s5506ma that was bricked after a Windows update supposedly when it was updating bios. It seems to be a meteorlake Intel CPU core ultra, I cannot find too much info regarding this hardware, anyone have info about if it contains Intel ME engine and if there is any tool for disassemble spi image like we do with all CSME or TXE versions using the appropriate Intel ME tool? The problem is original bios file Asus provides, has bios guard protection, I downloaded the latest update for Ami_pfat_extractor from plomatov (previous versions of AMI bios guard extractor doesn't work),with that...
