I doubt its a bios problem. Is it running ok on the battery after it boots up. If performance is slow after booting from battery check the power plans, run diagnostics on the battery https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1045716/ .Comment

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.
My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

hey all, i did a silly thing and flashed bios to perfectly working board. None of the asus official download bios would work with ez flash. They all gave error saying not supported bios file. I tried using uefi tool to extract it to a bin file but then ez flash wouldnt even recognise it.
So, i used freedos and afudos with the aforementioned bin file i extracted and forced the issue. After bios reprogram, reboot and it was dead. Fans spinning but no post.

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

I have an Asus G713QY that won't boot. The machine fire up to a black screen, no post but everything seems to check out on the board. I believe the motherboard needs the bios reloaded but I can't find the bios file. I've looked on the Asus website but what is available for download is the .exe to run in windows (which won't help). I've tried to unzip it but can't see the bios file that I need. Can anyone share the bios file for an Asus ROG G713QY-K4005T (SN: MANRKD03332840C), motherboard ref: G713-6050A3254002-MB-A01 (A1).
