Thank you for your reply. I'm using Neoprogrammer, and the original chip I was reading as GD25LQ128C. The new chip doesn't work at all—it's not responding. I'm connecting it via a 1.8V adapter and holding it on a clipboard; I also soldered but not reading.

Hi, I mentioned my laptop earlier—it's a long story. The BIOS chip (GD25LR128DSIG) has a broken pin. I ordered a replacement from China, but it seems to be fake, as the programmer doesn't detect the chip at all. My question is: what is its equivalent? I don't want to order another one just to find out it doesn't work again. I checked the W25Q128JWSIQ and W25Q128FW, but I'm not sure if they're compatible. Please help. How is that possible? I downloaded the BIOS directly from Lenovo and extracted the EC dump, wolala laptop working. The only explanation is that Windows probably updated the BIOS the last time it was working without permission....Leave a comment:

Hi,
I have a GOG20 LA-171P Rev1a board. Long story short, this laptop came to me not powering on. I found a short to ground on the KB9022. I replaced the KB9022 and programmed it with a CH431A. The laptop worked for about three days but then stopped powering on again.
I discovered that a small chip, the SY8388BR, was shorted to ground. I replaced it, and once again, the KB9022 was shorted to ground. I replaced it again, but this time, the pad for pin 1 on the mainboard fell off and wasn't connected to anything. I decided to program the KB9022 with the same BIN file as... -

hi, unfortunately bios is still very slow, example laptop powers in to bios take very long than whwn press f7 to take to advance setting is very 5-7 seconds and mouse point freeze....Leave a comment:

Hi, I have problem with asus vivobook k513e. Came to with no pictures I found dump and flashed in to it, was working but did not see in bios ssd, so found another bios file now I can see ssd but laptop lagging evenin bios, also i opened hex editor and change serial number, maybe i did something?
sometimes not usable so i think its need beter bios, maybe fixing original or brand new but i don't know how to make it. Please can someone help me with...
