Extract the attached file to a folder, open a command line and change to the folder directory, then run the command: fptw64 -greset

Reboot and see if it has made any difference.

I doubt its a bios problem. Is it running ok on the battery after it boots up. If performance is slow after booting from battery check the power plans, run diagnostics on the battery https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1045716/ .
