Would someone be kind enough to take a look at my BIOS? Computer has the usual problem of no display with caps + esc + num lock lights. I have enclosed both files. I extracted the one from lenovo, but could not proceed from there. Ended up with DOSFLV34_QS.bin.

If that doesn't work, check for hardware problem, in this forum quite a few with same issue (also on the ThinkBook 14 G2 ITL), some even died after reading BIOS chip from working laptop to remove password, probably cracked solder balls under CPU

Thank you for the quick response and help. Unfortunately, that did not work. It gave me different symptoms - just powers on and off repeatedly. No fan, caps lock, num lock or escape lights. So I flashed the original backups back to the chips and did a read and compare. Now I have the same symptoms as the files you provided me with.

I think you may be right about cpu problem. The sequence of events as described to me that led up to this were bizarre. I was told that he shut it down one day and the next time he powered it up, he was asked for bitlocker key. He went to his account and retrieved the key, entered it and the machine worked for about 15 minutes and died. Then was stuck with the flashing lights.

Modern electronics these days seems to be mostly junk!

I need a BIOS file. The computer powers on, but there is no display. It seems to start up normally, but no video output appears.
The 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V rails are normal. However, the CPU and GPU voltages are missing. After about 10 seconds, the 3.3V and 1.8V lines shut down, and the fan starts spinning at high speed.

I suspect a BIOS-related issue. I would appreciate your help.

Thanks, the computer worked. Sometimes it shuts down as soon as the image appears on the screen, sometimes it shuts down after the operating system starts, and then it restarts, but the reset cycle occurs randomly.
