I have Samsung NP350V5C laptop that boots directly to bios. I have removed keyboard and all peripherals, cleaned the board but it always starts up to bios only. Even after exiting bios it restarts again into the bios.

go to bios then check all the peripherals there including the hdd sdd or boot device unchecked the secure boot.. try legacy boot if you have a brand new hdd. or try to reset it using load default settings.. then reboot.. check also the bios rtc battery 3v .. gud luckNever stop LEARNING because life never stops TEACHING!Comment

You guys it still does this with a working, or blank or even an OS installed hard drive in there. I have removed the keyboard, reset the bios to defaults and it still does this. I have even taken it apart and cleaned the board with alcohol and it still happens.Comment

The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hello everyone,
i made out of two broken Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S one that works partially.
The one Mainboard had a broken screen output but working hdmi (usb c adapter) output and the other didnt start at all.
I switch the bios chips and now the tablet starts but very very slow and it takes some trys to get it starting.
The problem is, that the micom Version doesn't match with the bios version, see picture.
How can i update the Micom Version? The Samsung bios update wont work.

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
