Have you bought it yourself to say for sure that it comes as such a kit?

Re: svod programmer
Okay, but here's another question.
KB9012 programming is the same as programming of KB9022, IT8586 etc programmable IC-s?
I am asking because flashrom has included KB9012 programming in their latest version and since I am using flashrom for other programming purposes anyway, I would rather continue with it.
Edit:
Looks like programming is the same so I think I will order a new chip and try it out when it arrives.Last edited by RethoricalCheese; 08-20-2018, 09:23 AM.

Re: svod programmer
ENE KB9xxx has an SPI bus directly available for flashing. As long as the software recognizes its id you should be ok.
ITE IT8xxx uses another interface AFAIK and you can't just flash it with a regular SPI ROM programmer.OpenBoardView — https://github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardView

Re: svod programmer
Might be so. I just found out that other KB9xxx can be flashed with that but didn't search for IT/MEC compatibility yet.
Edit:
BUT, looks like IT85xx chips are supported aswell. Not 100% sure tho.Last edited by RethoricalCheese; 08-20-2018, 10:28 AM.

I am not referring to Sergie Vertyanov. If i am correct, SALVOSKIA is the main Engineer behind the Project and the S may be stand for his name and other letters for other members in the team
