I do it for simple display problem repair, without Change chips.........@sopik78

If you have simple problem, do it simple way. And it is definitely not to convert dis to uma on this board.
Just get the schematic and compare the differencies between uma and dis version, it means to change a lot of parts and flash SPI to uma BIOS.
Or get some uma board and match it with your dis.

After this you choose other way for sure.

ax1 is very difficult to convert, need to add and remove a lot of components.

Not that difficult man, have converted atleast 5-6 such boards succesfully. It makes sense to convert from dis to uma as ati chip fails on this mobo.

If you need i can post the knowhow to convert.

No need to flash bios after conversion.

Hi, i have DAAX1JMB8C0 with the processor on board. Will it work? I tried except the seventh picture. But its not powers up.

In 7th stage cant figure out the position of the capacitors.


I have one difference in picture 2. I had 75 ohm resistors instead of 70 ohm in r497 , r498, r499
