    HP G62 AMD problem

    Hi
    I have problem with g62, original motherboard have standard second gpu problem ,and i order new from china. Problem with second one is normal start first time but after few minute it freezes and after that on another start only fan works and no boot image.
    They say to try change cpu Phenom N620 what i did and same thing he starts for few minutes and freezes and after that if i try to start only fan works.
    When i put processor on old motherboard (this one work lower gpu) processor don't start only fan works , but if i put him in and out few times it start only on old motherboard

    Reball the Northbridge. On G62 it is usually the NB not the GPU, even if you're getting no video. If you are getting 1 blink on caps lock on your keyboard, "CPU error", it's 100% the NB.

    If you reball or replace the GPU it may start and work normally for a while since a bit of heat will get to the NB as well, but then it will die again because it wasn't the GPU at fault to begin with.

      i try reflow but no result and that the reason i bought new motherboard it cost 65$
      but problem is with new motherboard , they ( Chinese ) say problem is with processor ,and caps lock not blinking

        Was that motherboard new or refurbished or used?
        I had couple laptops with the same symptoms and on those the CPU sockets were the problem.
        But first check the caps around the CPU. Is there a big ass cap under the CPU socket at the other side of the motherboard?
