    Dell XPS 9315 bios programmer

Hi everyone. That's my first post so please forgive me if I've done something wrong.
I'm trying to flash the bios on a Dell XPS 9315 but the bios chip w25r512jvl is not supported by asprogrammer and 2 other softwares for the ch341a I've tried the epz2010 but this on the other hand shows a message device not connected even though the driver is installed.
    Can anyone please help?

Even Google has no results for w25r512jvl. Are you sure that that's the correct chip type?

Try to use a similar IC (Winbond, 256MBit, 3.3V) front the list of supported flash ICs.

Did you try the "Detect" Button in NeoProgrammer software?

There's the W25Q512JV on NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10, not yet supported on AsProgrammer, it may or may not work

Scroll down until you find a Google drive download link for NeoProgrammer

Oh yes, meant 512MBit of course and not 256MBit...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
              by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

The right BIOS Programmer - The right software (HP Elitebook 820 G1, 840 G2) no soldering, EC, DMI, ME

              Greetings badcaps community,

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.

Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.

              I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

              I learned that desoldering...

Dell Pro 13 Plus PB13250 Bios Unlock
              by Akhlz001
              Hi,

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...

M715q Desktop (ThinkCentre) - Type 10M3 - Request bios chip location and useable bios for use with CH341A Programmer.

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
              1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
              2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
              3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this
