Maybe i found my problem. Looks like LP800 is done. Right now i'm looking for a replacement with 2.2 µH, 8 A.
Any ideas what i can take or if there is anything from another logicboard if not new? I have A2141 and A1932 spares here but didn't find anything with same specs.

LP800 ? Inductors rarely fail. Can you post pics of the part? Why do you believe that this inductor is defective? Inductors can be replaced by others but you need to match the inductance and peak current rating or exceed it and ideally match the same pcb footprint. So for example, same sized 2.2uH @ 15A is fine to use as a replacement, etc. Bourns is a great company we use in our design and there are many others.

Measure if the inductor is conducting by placing the meter in resistance mode across the solder pads on this part. What is the resistance? Yes, looks a bit baked but should be ok unless the inductor internal wiring is damaged.

I get 0,4 Ohm so it should be fine?
As written before after replacing QP800 and QP802 the board startet but without any display. Strangely i had a short on pad 2 of LP800 after removing it. Replacing QP803 and QP801 fixed it. Maybe this will finally fix my display issues.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

              Hi all!
This is my first post and also one of my first "deep dives" into electronic repair. I'm used to doing basic tasks with computers, like SSD/CPU replacement, thermal past re-application, etc. So here's the story...
I have a MacBook Air M1 that I bought to repair (I know, I'm weird; though I'm a CompSci major and want to learn more , and it will not display anything on the internal display. I have verified that there's no backlight, as I booted the laptop and shined a flashlight on it and there's no display; it does completely boot up, and shows fine on an external...

Macbook A2442 820-02098 boot and display issue
              by veedo
              Hi All
I have MacBook A2442 which had keyboard replaced and now it doesn't turn on correctly, it have sound chime from time to time and Apple logo shows on the display and there is no backlight on, apple logo appear and stuck on kind of boot loop. But if one of the display flexes is disconnected from the motherboard then MacBook turns of fine with the external monitor and it keeps working fine.
Without keyboard its still have same issue, I don't have second display to replace it and compare but does display can make issues with boot?

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

MacBook Pro A2442, board 820-0298-A, no backlight
              by survivalbloke
I'm working on a MacBook Pro A2442, board 820-0298-A. This device was liquid damaged and had no power. After I repaired the liquid damage, I find the device powers on and works with external video, but backlight is not working.

Anyway, I really want to improve my fault tracing skills, instead of having to rely on others to always tell me where to look and what to check. In this case, I have a question about navigating schematics. If I wanted to trace the backlight power circuit, how do I find where that circuit begins? If I search for "lcd" in the schamtic, it is listed...
