M1 A2337 Macbook - No Display, likely due to logic board

    Hi all!
This is my first post and also one of my first "deep dives" into electronic repair. I'm used to doing basic tasks with computers, like SSD/CPU replacement, thermal past re-application, etc. So here's the story...
I have a MacBook Air M1 that I bought to repair (I know, I'm weird; though I'm a CompSci major and want to learn more , and it will not display anything on the internal display. I have verified that there's no backlight, as I booted the laptop and shined a flashlight on it and there's no display; it does completely boot up, and shows fine on an external display via USB-C. I was able to wipe it and upgrade it to Sequioa, and also performed a "revive" via DFU from my personal Macbook. Nothing worked; so I bought an iCloud locked mac with a PERFECT display and I get the SAME issues when I hook it up to this working display. Upon inspection of the logic board, everything seems to be fine... but I am also not a professional. I'd like to learn more about repairing capacitators, looking for what's wrong, and general repairs. I don't currently have access to a microscope/soldering items, but I will have access to soldering material when I'm home from uni. A good (relatively cheap) microscope suggestion would be great, as well as suggestions on what to look for; I can take macro pics with phone to inspect the logic board If I need more experience before attempting this, lmk! I'm hoping to get some beginners advice here!
