    eMachines E527: No Speaker Output

Headphone output works but not speakers. Tried known working speakers but nothing. Any help or schematic?

I do not believe it has speaker level output, only line level output for feeding the powered speakers.

its this chip doing the output for the speakers?
Just cook it! It's already broken.

Check the amplifier (U29 - TPA6017) if it is receiving signal from U26.

Sorry. I only replaced U29 so I guess I should do the same wth U26. @whaldsz, I will replace as I have no tools to test signal.

try replacing stereo jack. as far as i know, if plug is removed, the signal will be redirected to line going to speakers. there are switch inside the jack to mute speaker when stereo plug is inserted.

                correct me if im wrong

                        apparently yes!
I had a acer that did the same thing.
it work with headphones but in my case it could have been the jack that did not unlock the internal speakers from that jack.

                          Stereo speakers to mono speaker
                          by tmcw
I picked up this set of powered PC speakers, no name brand, power cord to one of the speakers, and two audio cables coming out of it, one going to the other speaker, and the other to a 3.5mm jack for plugging into an audio out source.

So, a typical cheap powered PC speakers setup.

Now, the sound is pretty decent, I must admit, from the 4 ohm, 3W speaker, but I say "speaker", because it's just coming out of one of the speakers, and not the one with the power cord coming out of it. The other speaker is ok, it's just the electronics going to it has probably a fried...

Behringer MS16 Speakers - Low Volume on One Speaker
                          by RetroComputingGrotto
I've had a set of speakers come in with the fault of not powering on.

I could hear something wrattling around in the speakers so we played a game called Guess What's In The Speakers! and this is what we found:

1 random loose nut and part of a BIC Biro pen.

After removing these foreign objects I plugged in the speaker and powered it on and found the volume to be quite low. On plugging in the other speaker it was very loud, but only out of the other speaker, this side was still very low.

                          Help with boom box modification
                          by Califauna
Hi, this is more of a project help request than a troubleshooting question. I hope I can post it here.

I have a W-King D8 Bluetooth boom box which I'd like to modify with some external speaker output jacks and some buttons to switch the internal speakers on and off.

From factory the specs of the boom box are:

                          -Power Input: DC 5V
-Speaker Output Power: 2 x 25W ( confirmed by Youtube channel Hartdegen review as 12.5W RMS per channel)
                          -Drivers:
                          -2 x Woofer, 70mm, 10Ω, 70mm,15W
                          -2 X Tweeter, 8Ω, 30mm,10W x 2

mini PC HP Elitedesk connecting speakers to headphone output?
                          by paparazzo79
                          Hi guys.
I have this mini PC HP Elitedesk which has 2 headphone outputs on front.
May I connect speakers with/without amplifier to that output without harm to the PC?
I have 2 types of speakers regular one without amplifier (just getting power over usb port) and second type is 2.1 system with subwoofer (probably have amplifier on sub).
I may also buy USB sound card but I see that card has also headphone output marked with headphone icon.

Nikkai EAPA 450 car amplifier rear speaker output is a low level and distorts easily
                          by waigy
                          As the title.
I think these used to be sold in maplins a lot of years ago, it is an antique, but it's just fine for my needs.
It looks basic enough inside with large components so I could do a full recap pretty easily.
Any suggestions on what component would cause the symptoms of low volume output on both left and right rear speaker outputs?
If I turn up the rear gain level in the amp until the speakers start to distort it starts to distort quickly even though the speakers are still pretty quiet.
I thought I had dodgy speakers as I just fitted new old stock 6x9s in...
