Behringer MS16 Speakers - Low Volume on One Speaker

I've had a set of speakers come in with the fault of not powering on.

I could hear something wrattling around in the speakers so we played a game called Guess What's In The Speakers! and this is what we found:

1 random loose nut and part of a BIC Biro pen.

After removing these foreign objects I plugged in the speaker and powered it on and found the volume to be quite low. On plugging in the other speaker it was very loud, but only out of the other speaker, this side was still very low.

Any advice on where I should start looking as I cant see any obvious signs of any issues. We've got quite a lot of these speakers and the ones I've repaired in the past had bulging capacitors but there dont appear to be any on this one so pointers in where the issue might be are very welcomed!

Measure the resistance of every SMD resistors and compare with the speaker that is working normally. I see only a few on the bottom layer, so it's not a difficult thing to do.

Film and ceramic caps you can ignore as they rarely ever go bad.

The speaker that works normally has no PCBs in it what-so-ever so unfortunately I cannot compare the SMD resistors. The amp is only in one of the 2 speakers.

Interesting you think it's more likely to be a resistor than any other component so hopefully I can work out what they're supposed to be as I've not been able to find a service manual or schematics for these speakers yet.
