    asus g750js ms1130c (203) turns on nothing on the screen

    hi all i was wondering if you could help me troubleshoot this laptop. i bought the motherboard off eBay. it is used. i fitted the motherboard into the housing of the gaming casing and turned it on. nothing shows up on the screen. i checked the connectors and no missing connectors. i also removed the graphics card and nothing on the screen. i even reflashed the bios but still nothing on the screen. can it be a corrupt bios? i even used the HDMI port but it also shows nothing on screen. could this be broken screen or a dead ec chip?

              i opened up my screen and on the inside under tape was a torn screen cable. no way to repair unless i order a new screen. the cable is made that way.

                      I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...

                      Hi everyone, hope all is well. I have run into a problem where my backlight screen is no longer working.

                      The original screen was beginning to show signs of faultiness. I believe it was part of the inverter board that was going bad. The backlight for the screen was still functional at this point. Well one night as I was tinkering with the laptop, my idiot self forgot to disconnect the battery from the motherboard. I attempted to reconnect the EDP cable onto the motherboard, and as you might guess, I saw a nice spark from the cable and the port. Don't worry, I'm still kicking myself...

                      Hi all , thanks for having me & I think this has been asked before but my case seems a bit odd.
                      I have a MacBook Pro , board 820-2915a and it turns on , chimes etc etc , keyboard lights up, fans spins , can turn caps lock on/off but screen is dead.
                      Iv tried the resets , shine torch through back logo , nothing , it seems the screen has no power. If I plug charger , it charges but if I disconnect battery it displays green light but won't turn on. Iv tried screen on with another board & it works & seems I'm not getting any voltage at pin 2 , next to ground pin .

                      Red "bottom" leds go on
                      Charging led works

                      Fans do not spin, capslock key does nothing, screen stays black

                      I would like to program the bios again, to rule out a corrupted bios.
                      However I run into a size error

                      The bios chip is a Winbond 25R256JVEN
                      Used my Xgecu T-48 to read the bioschip (using select chip as type XM25QH256B @WSON8, read somewhere...

                      Hi all,

                      Hoping to get some directions on a current repair of an Asus Vivobook Pro 16X. The laptop powers but shows no other signs of life, and appears to have all typical supplies according to boardview files (attached). Both CPU, GPU & PCH get sensibly warm & thermal camera reveals no obvious shorts. The only supply that makes me slightly wary is +1V8_AON_PLLVDD, as this measures 1V2. I believe this may be normal, however?

                      Pressing the power button gives you a lit keyboard & power/battery lights, but that's about it. No display (internal or external via HDMI)...
