Re: Lenovo G510 Slow Charging Problem

Try to force enable these mosfets again.

Ground wire to the gate pin of either mosfet. Keep the wire in pin #4 to keep the mosfets enabled.

When you do this, what is the voltage to ground of the 2nd DCin mosfets? This is the main power rail for the laptop.

      ground to pq301 and pq302 ping 4.
      pq302 source voltages 20V,
      drain voltages 20V.

This method is now powering the logic board. Power down and connect the battery.

Does it charge when you manually enable these DCin mosfets?

works plugged with battery everythink normal.

I think this motherboard can not detect adapter plugged in.Because

pq206-207-208-pq205 no voltages with plugged adapter.

Question was if the logic board powers up with only the power adapter with the manual enable of the DCin mosfet. No battery (for now).

No powers up ,manual enable of the dc in mosfet.

                    Interesting. Remove all power.

Meter in resistance mode. Measure the resistance across the mosfet pins of the other mosfets mated with the charger IC.

Check the high / low side charger mosfets.

                    Check the battery enable mosfet.

                    Post each measurement.

If the battery is able to power the logic board then the power adapter with the manual bypass should also have worked.
