Hello, i have Asus UX5400E with dead bios. With my backup there is no picture and no reaction to power button. I flashed clean BIOS (also included) and laptop working fine but always ask for bitlocker key and it is missing DMI data. So can anyone repair my old backup or transfer DMI data to clean BIOS ? Thanks.... -
iMAC A1418 Backlight issue
Hello friends,
I have this unit with no backlight on screen. After inspection i determined there is a shorted capacitor on BKL_BOOST circuit. I removed the capacitor, short is gone but backlight still not working. I found that Q9702 is not open and R9721 is only around 70kOhms but according to schematics it should be 301k. I removed the resistor and connected the gate of Q9702 directly to GND. Now i have 12v passing by the mosfet to turn on backlight IC LP8561 (U9700) but BKL_BOOST circuit is not working. I can measure only 12V there but it should be around 60V.

Aspire C24-865
Good evening guys.
I have a problem with AiO Acer Aspire C24-865. There is no picture after pressing the power button. I tried different dumps from this site and also from paid forums. With one dump board autostart after plugged in and with another one it stays off until i press the power button. I also tried different RAM and BIOS CHIP. Board heats up, it has all voltages on big coils except 1V_VCCGT. I found that it is common problem for this model but cant find any solution yet. When measuring the voltages i found that 3D3V_S5 is only around 550Ohms what looks strange to me but... -

Hello, replaced current sensing resistors. There is no change. So today i made some measurements of BQ25700A chip. Results are below.
Laptop is working on battery only, also on charger only. With battery and adapter plugged in, system says charging but percentage is decreasing. Until now i changed PQ0204, PQ0205, PQ0201, USB-C jack, BQ25700, Current sense resistors and battery. Sometimes when i plug in charger, it will start charging for +- 10 seconds (20V@3A)....Leave a comment:

Lenovo E15 / NM-C421 Charging Problem
Hello guys,
I have a problem with charging circuit in this laptop. Unit came with no power at all (USB-C meter was cycling turning off and on). I discovered that when I unplug battery laptop works on charger only. So after few measurements I found shorted 1st dual mosfet AONY36324. Unfortunately i was not able to order exact this one, so i ordered AONY36352 which i believe is the similar one. Now the problem is, when i connect battery and charger USB-C meter is not cycling anymore, it starts charging (reading 20V@2,7A) but after few seconds it is going down to 20V@0,20A and laptop... -

I dont have any voltage on pins 27 and 28 with battery plugged and charger unplugged.
Without battery on battery connector i have voltages :
P- 0V
R 1,1V
D 3,25V
C 3,25V

Hello friends,
I have this laptop with a not charging battery. This is the 3rd same laptop with exact same problem so there must be some manufacturing design problem. Windows says 0% (plugged in) and percentage doesnt increase. I tried with new battery and also with new BQ24780S charging IC. Laptop works only on DC power, after unplug immediately shut down.
I measure BQ24780S with and withou battery and here are the results :

I can find only file for panel CC495PU1L. TV is working with it but picture is doubled.

Now the laptop starts as before - shows dell logo and stays like that forever. This was the problem why i tried to flash another dump. Also tried bios emergency recovery because sometimes i can get into bios menu. Tried other RAMs, SSD, using original 180w charger. Any ideas ?...

Hello guys,
Please is there anyone who can repair this bios dump ? I make backup of bios with ch341a programmer but if i put it back laptop is not starting and doesnt react to power button. If i upload another bios from sites there are signs of life but machine goes to diagnostic mode (showing red,green,white,blue colors on LCD). I dont know if i screw something with old bios when i was making backup but if there is anyone who can repair it i will be very thankful. Bios chip is XMC 25RH256CX (3,3V). Service tag : 7K9ZVN3... -

Hi members,
I have searched this forum but didnt find answer for my problem. I have a Samsung UE49K6372 and problem is that i have backlight and sound but didnt have picture.I am suspecting t-con board. I tried to unplug both sides of the panel one by one (ribbon cable) but there is no picture at all. Fuse is also ok (13v on both sides). I remember that i repaired one curved tv with simillar symptoms in past by flashing SPI EEPROM on T-CON board. But i cant find any dump for this model. Is there someone who can share it or repair my old dump ? Thanks.
