Lenovo ThinkPad T14 gen1 charging problem

I have a think pad t14 gen1, mainboardboard NM-C931 REV 1.0, I replaced the damaged USB-C charging socket, I still have a problem with charging only 5V. Where to look for the fault? Which electronic component is responsible for charging negotiation?

USB type C is with power delivery. Power delivery will use the cc1 and cc2 pins for communication. The pd controller is the think engine 3 chip on this Lenovo.

Power delivery TPS65988, this chip may be damaged? is it a programmable chip?

It is but is configured by an external I2C host or SPI external flash at run / boot time.
