I want to thank Topcat, BadCaps Adminstrator, for resurrecting my VP6 MB. It couldn't get through boot when I sent it, and now it works flawlessly. Fine work, sir, and thank you for the reasonable, professional service. You may hear from me again, if I decide to resurrect my other board.

What is the expected lifespan of a resurrected VP6?

I have been putting off getting my boards recapped for a while, but now I have no choice since one finally died today

It's either recap, or build a new one.

After 6 short years with my VP6, I am going to be going into unknown territory if I do build a new one. My better half is on her 3rd computer (1 built, 2 DELLS) during the time I built the 1st VP6.

well.....I recapped my first VP6 got in late '98/early '99. Its been running 24/7 ever since then. I just pulled the board last week and I'm about to put it back into the fold (pun intended ). i just can't part with it.
