Gigabyte board works with GSC capacitors

Surprisingly this GA-7VKML still worked with six GSC 3300uf capacitors in this condition, driving a Duron 1200

Hoping for longer life after replacing the GSC crapacitors with UCC KZG salvaged from a dead board

nice you have missed some though. what is that one starting to bulge in the middle of the ram. i have seen some gigabyte looking like the first pic to fuck the ram also permanently eventually

That one does look a little deformed on top.

That one in the middle of the RAM just looks like a deep vent stamp, not really bulging.
          Ludicrous gibs!

              More pics

I think it is deep vent stamping - no sign of bulging

Also, went through several passes of MemTest with no problems, both memory slots populated

As I mentioned in an earlier 'bad caps irony' thread, caps don't have to be spilling their electrolyte out to have gone bad - they can fail silently and you would never know. On the other hand, you can have a whole load of caps fail inside a PC and it still remains stable - there was a PC at my workplace like that!

As a general rule though, when you find bad caps you should replace at least the bad ones as soon as possible. If the other ones are a known bad brand, it may be a good idea to replace those too to save you more work in the future.

I can't see any bulging or venting in the second set of pics, where you have replaced the bad caps. I have seen caps that look like they've caved in though, more often than not it's the result of a deep vent stamp (or physical impact, though that often causes similar symptoms to vented caps).
You know there's something wrong when you open your PC and it has vented Rubycons...
