    Gtx 480 caps replacement...

    Hello everyone,

    I sold a graphics card with water block and the buyer returned it to me saying it was damaged in shipping. I packaged it extremely well and I can't understand how this happened.......:





    I am hoping to replace these dented ones and the pulled out one and have a working card.

      Don't use off-site Images. Attach them here in future, as those imageshack thumbnails don't work properly here. I'll do it for you this time

      As for what caps to use, it looks like it has 270uF 16V polies on it. replace them all with these (http://www.digikey.com.au/product-de...018-ND/1136108) Nichicon LF series

      No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

                  Are you sure that it is your card, does it have the same serial? Or did the buyer just take his broken card and return it to you? Something seems a little fishy, if you really had this packed properly.

                      If that was packaged properly, there wouldn't be scratches on the capacitors, and no dents/pushed over caps too. I suspect foul play!
