    Fujitsu Scaleoview L22W-3 inverter fail

    Hi, everybody.

I smoothly moved from level one - bad caps to level 2 - not working inverter.
There is FSP055-2PI02A power board with inverter. I recapped it, but it still won't work. It starts only for 4-5 seconds and then turns CCFL off. During light on it hazzles silently. Inverter logic chip is MP1038EY.

I want to replace those two N-MOSFETs, but I can't read type of them.

Have you any suggestion, what type of MOSFET to use?

    Thank you

Re: Fujitsu Scaleoview L22W-3 inverter fail

    Hi,

I measured backlight transformer once again, and there is the problem.

One secondary circuit has resistance 1kOhm - it is OK. But the second one has more than 10kOhm.

The type is SPI 8TC00332. I found it only in the United States. Is there any option to buy it in Europe?

    Thank you in advance

            Hi,

No problem with lcdparts.net site. I ordered new transformer and paid by PayPal.

            http://lcdparts.net/TransformerDetai...ProductID=2796

It arrived within one week. No customs - amount was within free customs range (25 EUR)

Apparently, this board is also used in the Acer X221W and X222W. Maybe someone who has this model monitor can chime in.

I'm holding an X221W power supply in my hand right now. The IC in question is this:

                      First line:
                      F 1 H06

                      Second line:

                        Fairchild - CM0565R - Power Switch

aka: TOPSwitch for all intents and purposes.

You can probably replace it with an actual TopSwitch or maybe ST Viper series, just requires some careful reading of datasheets.

Hi, This is my first message here and I have the same problem than dondrusco had with a L22W-2 monitor, the lights shouts down after few seconds.

I saw how to solve it and I only need to order the transformer. I just wanted to ask if that tranformer is ok for every L22W monitor or maybe it's different for the L22W-1 and the L22W-2 and if it's like that how can I see which transformer I need?

And maybe that's not even the problem in my monitor.. I saw a guide here with all the problems that can cause the screen to shot down. There is an easy way to understand if the the transformer is the problem or not?

                                Thanks!

You are correct - it could be many reasons- Does you transformer have any numbers on it.

I have a tripp-lite aspint 3636vr inverter charger which blow some of mosfet transistors. I replaced them repaired also the driver circuit and tested but the mosfets burn again.

It work very well as inverter and also as charger if I let the rear switch in auto mode (inverter) and charger only(charging) but in auto when I connect the feed line 220V AC first time it pass ok to line and start charging the batteries but when I remove the feed line it pass to inverter mode and if I do it again the second time when passing from charging to inverter the Main transformer start making a...

A modified sine wave inverter + a grid tie inverter?

If I had a solar fed grid tie inverter (GTI), a modified sine wave inverter, and a power outage occurred, what would happen if you disconnected mains, backfed the modified sinewave inverter (MSI) into house power, and hooked up the GTI to the output of the MSI, would it work?

Next thing is trying to charge the batteries using solar power, but that's another issue ...

I am currently on a troubleshoot of 46” Sony KDL-46BX450 tv. I came back from Washington to Texas on medical emergency and had to leave all my tools up there. All I have is a couple of screwdrivers and a dvm. I wish to ask the community a troubleshooting question. Please forgive stupid questions as meds I am taking produce brain fog.
I have well maintained Sony KDL-46BX450. It went black one day. After turn-on, I get solid green light and Sony logo in screen center for about 1-2 seconds, then black. No blinking LEDs, no hissing. Flashlight test shows screen characters dimly viewable,...

Hello folks, this is a last ditch effort. I thought I would seek your expertise before giving up.. I have been working on this thing for over 2 months and have gotten nowhere. Here is the issue:
Inverter powers on and immediately red GFI light comes on and inverter will not complete the initialization process.
There is no error code on the screen. I have removed most of the Y capacitors and tested to no avail.
                                          All relays are good.
I replaced the current transducer- same problem. Checked most of the transistors and diodes and all appear good. I wish I could get my hands...

                                          hi all,

I suffered a power outage when updating bios and bricked the machine, no recovery possible. then i made a pretty big mistake by erasing the bios chip with my CH341a before getting a proper read and verify. fujitsu provide a BIOS "admin pack" to recover with which contains a stock .ROM file however this file is approx 64mb which is twice the size of the bios chip. any help is greatly appreciated,...
