Testing SMPS
I read some where that you can test a SMPS transformer was light bulbs, I repaired all the faulty part in the SMPS but still not working. (I think the transformer is faulty). Can I test the transformer input this way, if I check it with a multi_meter there is about 330v DC there....

I have use lots of these LED Backlight Upgrade Kit. on 24" and 22" monitors the picture is very good, a little bit whiter than LCD backlights. The only problems I had with them is the brightness control work the wrong way round. If you put 5v power on the brightness control backlight are dim, 0v backlight full brightness.

I have checked the data sheet and it is a TOP225EN, thanks for the help.
I am having problems finding one of them, is there anything I can use as a replacement.

Help finding part
I have just got hold of a Dell ST2220LC 22" LED monitor with a faulty PSU, the board number is: 715G4110-P01-000-0H1S. I have checked the board and found a faulty part. I can not see the part number of it, can any help with the part.

I turned it on one day and the picture was upside down, I have done a factory reset but this did not help.

Samsung LE37A457
I have a Samsung LE37A457 37" TV and the picture has flipped upside down. I have look in the service menu and can not see any way to chance it.
Can any one please help.

Yes the diodes are good, I have replaced all the cap still the same problem. I did replace the large main cap just to make sure.
