    Re: AOC LM725 screen goes blank

    Stumbled across this info - (dont know for certain if it is correct)
    TT2140 Transistor. Used as a Horizontal Output Transistor in newer Funai,
    Sylvania, Toshiba, etc... sets. Will Sub with any of the following info
    below;

    TT2140 = AD301779 $1.16 (Tritronics) Original Transistor with TT2140 Written
    on it.
    TT2140 = BZ510120 $2.31 (Tritronics) Original Transistor with TT2140 Written
    on it.
    TT2140 = 2SD2627 $2.89 (Tritronics) Subs fine and same part Funai sends
    out.
    TT2140 = NTE2640 $2.35 (Tritronics) Silicon NPN Horizontal Output
    Transistor.

    TT2190 = Also will sub with any transistor-cross above for the TT2140.

      Re: AOC LM725 screen goes blank

      this is what I'm wondering... why TT2190 is being use as a driver by the other transformer while the c5706 is capable of doing the job...

        Re: AOC LM725 screen goes blank

        I always use 2sc5707 in place of 2sc5706. The 2SC 5706/5707 have very low Vsat compared to the TT2190, BUT TT2190 has much much higher Vce (1500V), unless the design of the ciruits has very high kick back voltage, so they use the high voltage transistor instead. you can try the 2sc5706/5707 ad see what happen, but make sure to check those two blue caps.

          Re: AOC LM725 screen goes blank

          I had the same problem, monitor works for 3-4s then screen goes black.

          I had laying around this one for long time, and bought the 5706 off ebay while ago.

          So without testing, I swapped all 4 5706 for new ones and 2 caps (green ones) and the screen not even turned on, always black (power light works)

          Then I put again old caps and same black screen.

          So desoldering transistors for checking I saw this:

          Soldered again two caps and four 5706 and fixed the transformer same black screen.

          This pictures as it is now:
          TOP:

          bottom:

          Should I replace this caps too?

          Thanks!

                Ok Better check further with a magnifier for cold joints.
                Can you also check q212, q209 and q210 again for solder bridge on the legs. Probably just the pic but better check.
                You should also resolder (Remove the old solder and replace)
                on C213 and C214 and C201.

                  Can you tell me the function of CN102 connector signals?
                  Or share the circuit... it would be enough to understand

                      Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

                      My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

                      This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

                      Hi all, I’ve got a problem I hope someone can help me fixi.
                      I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B tv , it powers up ok but the screen is blank, the backlights are working, there’s nothing else though, no picture or sound. I’m not sure what the fault is called whether it’s BLANK/ BLACK/ or WHITE SCREEN I’ve actually came across this before on a similar tv but just ended up scrapping it, I will upload pictures of the boards etc , if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...

                      Hi guys
                      I'm trying to fix this laptop screen

                      Basically the owner is a computer shop and they brought it to me with two screens. They said the repair shop they use could not fix it, so I thought i would try to see if I am better than their current repairer!

                      OK so I have the original screen which works but has lines across the bottom quarter of the screen

                      I have the replacement screen, which they fitted and it worked. They then put the laptop on one side for a couple of weeks until they found a buyer. When they showed it to the buyer, the screen would...

                      by Kalman27
                      We have a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 14IAH8 - Type 83BF for repair. The original issue the OLED screen is blank.

                      We have replaced the OLED screen with the exact model, also we replaced the LCD cable, but no luck.

                      I think there is something with the motherboard. I don't really have experience with OLED screens so far, so not sure how it should work. I have seen some laptop comes with a separate controller board, but this model does not.

                      Also, there is an error in Windows device manager - This device cannot start (Code 10) - Intel(R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller...

                      iphone XS turns off when press on screen.
                      by smic717394
                      Hi,

                      I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
