Re: mother of all burn in!
You should see arcade machines they get nasty burn in like that too.
High scores burn in is a real common occurrence.

by ttmi100xGreetings everyone,
I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...
The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.
Upon closer inspection...6 Photos-

by tommy97Hi,
we're getting quite a lot wiped A1932 & A2337 from scrap with MDM (Remote management), we'd like to find permanent solution to remove it without CPU swap as it gets not economical, I found iremove.tools website which offer permanent solution, however if they got shut-down i believe laptops would also get locked? Does anyone have any knowledge about this service & about any other possible method? -
by howardc64Eventually discovered a burn mark near lower corner of LCD. Here is a summary
- Backlight on, no image
- Disconnect right buffer board (view from front), left side display comes on
- Masked off pin 7+8 (both ~12,5v on both left and right buffer board) from t-con to right buffer board (view from front) display works but have some lines
- Buffer board is pretty simple

Laptop works and can be tricked by split pwm, but i dont want to do this stuff this way.
So anyone really knows if it must be programmed?09-16-2025, 07:11 AM -

Westinghouse TV WD48FAB100 Not Powering On – Burn Mark Found on Power Supply .
I have a Westinghouse LED TV, model WD48FAB100 that is not powering on. Upon removing the back cover, I noticed a burn mark where the AC cord connects to the power supply/main board. In this model, there is only one board combining the two functions. Previous owner said the TV experienced a lightening strike, but who knows. I checked the main fuse, tested OK. Here are a collection of readings from the power supply ports. Looking for some guidance on what to test/check next.... - Loading...
