    AOC e950Swdak

    Hi,

I have an AOC e905Swdak which has a strange display color all of a sudden. It starts showing whitish, greenish and also pinkish display and other strange colors.

I tried to look for bulged caps but there aren't any. I connected another CCFL bulb and it turned on fine.

Kindly find attached photos of the boards.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Regards,
    Matt

From a quick look I dont think this has a separate Tcon.
Chip may be on the panel board attached the panel.

ASUS G513QE-SB91-CB freezes all of a sudden
            by mferna14
Dear Friends., I am working on an ASUS Model: G513QE-SB91-CB, Serial # M8NRKD041417338, Motherboard: G513-6050A3249301-MB-A03(A3). The problem is that while using the laptop, just freezes all of a sudden., & sometimes while booting the ring stops to spin. I replaced with known good Memory & the a New SSD, installed Fresh Win 11 on this same laptop. Did not freeze during installation. But when re-booted, Win 11 boot ring stopped. I turned off from the power button. Again turned on & it booted well to Windows. Upon Windows update, it froze again. Even the BIOS has been updated &...

Hi Gurus, I am wondering if someone might be able to help. I purchased recently this used computer that otherwise looks in mint condition. I worked for 1 week, until one morning I shut down the computer using the power off commands in windows. There was no warranty. This was purchased for my teenager for use at school.
When I went to start the computer up in the afternoon, all the keys lit, but the computer didn't POST. Then the next thing I tried (pressing the power button) resulted in only the...

            Obscure Pentium laptop, sudden short?
            by keldeo
I've purchased this weird (and might add appears to have had a fairly rough life) laptop a while ago for $1 at a yard sale. It powered up one time, (saw a POST screen!) Then, never powered again. I've since thrown it in some dark corner, BUT, I've decided to look at it again. First, this seems like a very obscure laptop, mine just has the name "BIT" on it and nothing else. Very similar (same?) can be seen here https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=54655.

At first, I had gotten the weird mini display on the lower part of the laptop to display a few icons, but if I attempted...

ASUS proart Studiobook h7600ZW; Had DC in port replaced and all the sudden it isn't charging but is the charging sign is on!
            by Scarfycake
            Hi all,

I sent my ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED (H7600, 12th Gen Intel) to the local repair guys to have a very simple DC in port replaced. I sourced the part myself on accessoires-asus (french company) after struggling to find the right part in the UK. It looked completely the same to the installed part from what I can tell. Originally the only issue with the laptop was a bad / loose DC connection, and so the computer and battery acted completely normal aside from a very poor connection that would fail at certain angles. After the repair was completed I brought it home and used it for...

            corsair cx430 sudden power loss
            by benareeno
This seems to happen once or twice if I cold boot the system from full power off and it pretty much happens every time I cold boot. Also, it seems to happen when I wake the pc after putting it to sleep for a while..seems to happen every 2 or 3 times. So, does this mean I should either junk it or look into recapping it? It has plenty of power for me and it's really quiet...so I do like it.

            What are your thoughts?
