Since I doubt I can find the exact same fuse here, what should i look for? Same size, 3.15A and 24V? Any other specs matter?
Do the current rating and rated voltage have to be exactly the same? I looked around and most I find around here are rated 3.0A / 3.5A and 32V or above.
Can I solder it on top of the old one?Comment

For testing 3A 32v would be ok Doesnt even have to be same type - you can use a pico and yes just piggyback it on top of the old fuse -cuts down on possibility of damage to the board. It is working fine with the new fuse, there were 1 or 2 minor glitches in the first few days, but they seem to be gone too.
Any idea what could have caused the fuse to blow? And why did the display work after I first took it apart? I thought it was the reseating of the cables that helped but that seems unlikely now.

To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment... -
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM -
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -

I have a Samsung LE37B650 screen with the following symptoms:
- Image suddenly turned into almost completely white while I was watching a movie. I can make out some details, but they are very faint. There is definitely an image there, but very very bright and maybe inverted colors.
- If I unplug the cable between the main panel (that has all the video in-out ports) and the tcon board (T315HW02 V3 CTRL BD 31T06 C03), the screen is black as normal (there is backlight and it is masked by the pixels), but of course there is no actual... -
Another TV topic!!
I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.
The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.
Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?...
