Try replacing those two and see if it fixes it.Last edited by r3m1x; 08-04-2014, 07:48 PM.

Is this the same set you fixed in oct 2011 - I am surprised it has lasted so long. You were advised at the time that the caps you used were not good enough - did you go back and change them ALL as suggested by at least two experienced members, If not , you are now paying the price for that and you need to change them now with something decent like panasonic FR series though FM and even FC will do if you cant get the sizes in FR and FM.
Probably no point checking voltages until caps are replaced. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Better yet, if you have more monitors like this one or other LCD monitors that have bad caps (hint: check model numbers with badcaps.net search engine), then get some extra caps.
You are not necessarily limited to Panasonic FC, FR, and FM, but they are nearly universal caps when it comes to monitors and are of very high quality, which is why selldoor usually suggests them.
Other choices that could work in LCD monitors are:
Rubycon ZL, ZLJ, ZLG, ZLK
Chemicon KY, KZE,
Nichicon PW, PS, PM, HE, HD, HV
**AVOID eBay for caps**
(Or if you are really set on buying caps from eBay, first post a link to the listing here before buying anything. There are just too many fakes and these fake caps don't last worth a squat either.)Last edited by momaka; 08-05-2014, 04:26 PM.
