fuse for the t-con board viewsonic 2021m

hello everybody!!
where in the world is the fuse for the t-con board on the viewsonic 2021m?
i looked all over the board with a magnifing glass/lamp and can not find it.
is there a fuse on it?
or is it labeled something else but F something?

Take a better straight shot with clear and focused picture of those two connectors so we can see the components close by, also the pictures of the group of components to the right of the connectors.

i am not pushing no-one,its just that my camara is not that good,and i hope they (the pictures)come out ok this time.

It does not look like it has fuse on the T-CON (the fuse may be on the main baord), from what I can see, it seems to use 5V (V5D1 as I circled in red), see if it has 5v on that pin, it also has Panel_on which connected to R23, so you have to have running PC connected so the PANEL_ON signal will be present.

there is a lot of information on this site!!! i really appreciate the help getting there!.
i am going to have a lot of catching up to do,its been like 35 years since i graduated from laney college in oakland and i didnt see much squematic reading from there on.
in the meantime,i checked the 5vd1 test point as you recommended and 5v its there.
the PANEL-ON test point shows like .002 v,basically 0v.both readings with reference to chassis ground(is this the correct ground?)
i checked them with the cpu turned on and a signal/image present.
any ideas?

I would expect the panel on signal to go high (low when monitor is turned off or in standby) so it will turn on the switched MOSFET to supply the 5V to those components on the lefet and on the right of the T-CON.
Did you download those service manuals? It may have SCH for the main board so we can troubleshoot it further.

i was only able to download the first one,i was allowed 2 but i somehow wasted one chance and i have to wait until tomorrow to download another one.
i am going to have some time to look over the squematic and see if i can make any sense of it ,or even understand it.
i was wondering if i used the right ground,if i remember right there is also a "floating ground" that its used on some equipment (really old time school)

In TV and Monitors, 99.99% when you work in the secondary side, the chassis is connected to the circuit common ground of the secondary side through the board mounting screws, so you did it correctly.

Holy cow, this LCD panel (if it matches your panel) uses 3 power supplies, 3.3v, 5v, and 12v to run. So far I cannot find the specsheet of the panel to verify, but based on the SCH, that is what it looks to be. See page 71 and see if all those pins has the voltages.

yes,i saw 12v somewhere on the left side of the board ,but i didnt think it was relevant to my problem since it is there.
let me go over that again and see if i can make any sense of your findings,since i dont even know what is that i am looking for.
is that little Q3 transistor suppose to have only 3.3v on one leg and nothing else on the others?(not sure of the layout,its labeled 12Wg7)its between the 2 white connectors on the t-con bd
