Re: Resistor question
Just wonder what you are using for ground when testing the socket?
If you look on the back of the board you can see the bottom two pins on the socket are ground. So working as budm suggests with only the power supply connected, test on the back of the board with black probe on bottom pin
then with meter on vDC20 test each pin on the socket with the red probe.
While you are there put the red probe also onto each side of F902 and see if any voltage there. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Are they in Ohms, K Ohms, M Ohms? They do not look good.
The voltage readings of 67V can only be from using the wrong ground ref. point. You should use one of the negative leg of the filter caps on the secondary side as the ground ref.Never stop learning

Re: Resistor question
It looks to me that this is getting very muddled.
1supertech - you must say if you are not sure what we are saying.
I can only assume English is not your first language and you dont understand
Or you dont understand the electronic terms or both?
If you can confirm that we can make allowances and try and explain better
what you have to do.Last edited by selldoor; 02-01-2014, 04:38 PM.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair
