Re: Huawei P20 lite
Hallo again. The phone still has the same problem. I replaced the subboard with the mic and USB-charger port but to no avail. Then I replaced the charger flex but the people I call still cannot hear me unless the speaker is on.
Now I have looked at the connector through a microscope, and there is a black spot on the charger fpc connector on the motherboard. It doesn't look burned, it's just a black spot. I've ordered some charge connectors from China since I will try to replace the connector, but I think I have reached the end of the road as far...

Huawei P20 lite
Hi, I have a Huawei P20 lite. The problem is that the people I call, cannot hear me. This seems to be a quite common error. The phone had a cracked screen when I bought it. I replaced the screen and did a factory reset.
People can only hear me if I have the loudspeaker on.
What I have done so far is:
Factory reset.
Let the phone boot into Safe Mode - still the same problem.
Voice recording works.
Tried different network settings - (Volte, 4G, 3G, 2G)
I'm beginning to suspect that some audio IC is...Last edited by badcap111; 10-17-2023, 02:58 PM.

How to read inductor specs?
I have a broken samsung galaxy s10 with missing inductor. I want to replace the missing inductor and I have found some vendors. But I don't understand how to read the specifications of the inductor. The specs are:
INDUCTOR-SMD;470NH,20%,2520,T0.8,0.029OH
I understand that the inductor is 470 nH with 20% margin, and the size is 2520 or 1008 (imperial measure), but what do T0.8,0.0290OH mean? I can't find any explanation on the web.

Re: Xiaomi mi 9T missing resistor
Wow, thank you. I think understand a little better now. I thought that '0R' was a word type, a conjuction and read it as OR,not 0R. So I guess that R6400 is a zero ohms resistor? Is such a resistor essential for the functionality of a phone?...

Xiaomi mi 9T missing resistor
Hi, while trying to replace a broken screen connector on the motherboard, I knocked off a resistor next to the connector, and the resistor vanished. I have tried to find out the value of the resistor by looking at the schematics, but I cannot find the value. The ID of the resistor, or what you should call it, is R6400.
I don't know if the resistor is necessary for the phone to function, and the connector is still not soldered on to motherboard. I have contacted Xiaomi and asked them if they know the value, but they want a proof of purchase, which I don't have.
Is...
