    Troubleshooting lp2407 inverter

I bought an lp2407 monitor at a thrift store for ten bucks that has the dreaded one-second-to-black problem. It definitely displays properly as I can see what is being displayed when I shine a flashlight into the display, but I cannot figure out exactly if the problem is a bad inverter, a bad power supply, or a bad bulb. Is there an easy way to figure this out without a spare bulb? I can't find anywhere to buy them and none of my other monitor bulbs have the same wiring harness. It doesn't appear as though there are any bad caps or anything, but I did notice that the unit gives off a very faint electrical buzzing noise when it is plugged in. Thanks in advance!

Any pictures? Do you have a couple non-working CFLS? You can make your own test lamps:

You can solder the wires directly to the connectors on the bottom side of the board.
    Bad caps can look normal.

TOSHIBA DLP 52HM95 How to reset timer module on bulb
      by repair-it
I replaced the bulb only on my Toshiba DLP The bulb is a TB-25. This is the first time I've done a bulb only replacement. Supposedly there is a timer module that needs to be re-calibrated or reset. I don't know where the module is located. I see some vendors selling the bulb with the housing stating module included which leads me to think the module is located inside the enclosure the bulb mounts in, but I didn't see it. Maybe it's inside the plug attached to the bulb?

Anyway - I am seeking information on how to reset this so called module so that the lamp will operate. Apparently...

      LUMIMAN Smart Bulb IC ID?
      by ezenia
      Hi,

I have a LUMIMAN Smart Bulb that suddenly stopped lighting one day. The bulb is still detected in the app, but won't light. I've probed around and nothing seems to look off with any of the diodes, caps or resistors. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module seems to be working as it's still detected in the app. I even tried deleting and re-pairing the bulb (it didn't light, but I was still able to follow the pairing instructions), it re-paired fine, but still no light.

In diode mode, the LEDs all light up when probed so I'm guessing this means the LEDs themselves are OK. I was expecting...

Vizio E55-E1 bad backlights or bad inverter?
      by x_orange90_x
I just got this tv today and it appeared to have no backlight on. After taking off the rear cover and checking again in the dark I can see that MAYBE one quadrant is lit.. But still it's quite dim. I was going to check the LEDs with my tester, and I found LED 1 and LED 2 + pins on the wire from the inverter, but I couldn't identify a ground. Nonetheless I tried using a mounting screw on the inverter board and also the chassis as ground but regardless my tester reads 300 which is what it reads when there is no voltage draw.

I don't know how exactly to test the inverter itself. Is it...

      APSINT3636VR 3600W APS INT Series 36V DC 230V AC Inverter/Charger schematic
      by Gentian
I have a tripp-lite aspint 3636vr inverter charger which blow some of mosfet transistors. I replaced them repaired also the driver circuit and tested but the mosfets burn again.

It work very well as inverter and also as charger if I let the rear switch in auto mode (inverter) and charger only(charging) but in auto when I connect the feed line 220V AC first time it pass ok to line and start charging the batteries but when I remove the feed line it pass to inverter mode and if I do it again the second time when passing from charging to inverter the Main transformer start making a...

Insignia NS-LCD19-09 (PS OK, Inverter problem?)
      by valvashon
For some reason I'm just not going to let this 19" TV defeat me. I guess because I have a schematic to work from I feel like I'm oh so close.

History- while adding a turn-on circuit I let a small screw roll under the power board. Worked through all of that circuitry, probably replacing a MOSFET and PWM controller that were not bad but I was following the service manual. Finally figured out that the power supply is in working order when the inverter section (for the backlights) is disconnected. When the +12 supply to the inverter is disconnected the +12 and +5 will come up...
