TOSHIBA DLP 52HM95 How to reset timer module on bulb

I replaced the bulb only on my Toshiba DLP The bulb is a TB-25. This is the first time I've done a bulb only replacement. Supposedly there is a timer module that needs to be re-calibrated or reset. I don't know where the module is located. I see some vendors selling the bulb with the housing stating module included which leads me to think the module is located inside the enclosure the bulb mounts in, but I didn't see it. Maybe it's inside the plug attached to the bulb?

Anyway - I am seeking information on how to reset this so called module so that the lamp will operate. Apparently the module has 'timed out' as they do after a certain amount of hours and without a reset, the new bulb will not operate. Yes, I can purchase an entire enclosure with a bulb already calibrated, but thought I would try to save some money as these replacement bulbs are getting expensive.

FWIW, I have replaced the bulb 2 times in the past without an issue - using ones already calibrated apparently. The cheaper ones have worked fine despite reading online recommendations not to by the cheaper bulbs but to by the expensive bulbs that cost in excess of $100.00 only.

There is no such thing as a timer module, I don't believe this model has a lamp timer so there is nothing to reset.
Some vendors sell just the replacement lamp itself, some sell the complete lamp and housing, so all you need to do is swap out the complete housing.
Usually the picture starts to get very dark, so you know its time to replace the lamp, but it can also just fail completely, Remove the old lamp and see if it is broken.

Are you getting a error light blinking on the front?

Some dlp's have a lamp timer but this model does not, and the ones that do are easily reset with some button pushes, no parts to replace.

There are some cheap lamps out there that do not last but I would stick with a same brand that is in there now.

WD Sentinel DS5100 (NAS) boot issues
      by DeanWy
      Hi all,

I have a Western Digital Sentinel DS5100 NAS system which has stopped working. It has dual BIOS. I bought the system second hand with an already broken primary BIOS (it rebooted multiple times until second BIOS was used).

It worked until recently. The system was idle in Windows Server 2012 and a BSOD occurred, I think it was 'critical process died'. Thereafter it didn't boot, it just sat there with no video output and fan speed at 100% (there's a proprietary Windows driver by WD which controls the fan, outside of that it always runs at 100%).

      There...

Replacing the WiFi module on a vacuum cleaner iROBOT i7
      by AlexVG
      Hi,
I have had an iROBOT i7 with a camera error (error 68) version REV M, year 2018.

I bought a liquid damaged Mainboard with WiFi module, from the same vacuum cleaner, but a different year and a different version (REV G).
(This board does not respond, only the LEDs light up in a circle.
The liquid damage is catastrophic and restoration is impractical).
(I bought this board to get the WiFi module and camera).

The boards are completely different in the installation of elements, even the connector for the WiFi module is different.

      If...

70mai Dash Cam A510 - help identifying connector on camera module
      by m1ch43lzm
      Hi everyone
I have a 70mai Dash Cam A510 which failed after about 3 months of being installed in my car, likely due to heat, i got it from aliexpress so no point in trying to return it for warranty (and shipping it back would cost me almost the same as a new one from ali)
The camera would boot loop showing 70mai logo on the screen, sometimes it would boot fine then the live view would freeze or display purple lines

I already took it apart, and found out that the camera boots fine if i unplug the camera module from the main PCB, sometimes "playing" with the connector...

Light that has a bug zapper in bottom section of light fixture the LED light module took a crap but the zapper still works
      by sam_sam_sam
So I got the bright idea to remove the LED light module from the fixture and put it on top of another enclosure and keep using the zapper

The removal of light module was a successful and now I just have to cut a hole in the enclosure and put a power cord that has an on and off switch on it

You are lucky to get about two years of service out of one before the LED module starts flicking and just stops working because it is mounted on an aluminum plate and these are hard to solder on it and it is not worth messing around with them and especially this one because it has line...

Sony OLED XR-77A80J - 5 Flashes But Turn On After Hard Reset
      by odie34
I am a hobbyist (not a professional) so please be gentle...

I recently received an XR-77A80J that wouldn't turn on. (Repeating 5 flashes when plugged in.)

I did a hard reset by holding the power button for about 30 seconds until the set powered down. I then tried to turn it on and it powered up, bringing me to the setup screen. There's not a lot of detail on the setup screen but the picture didn't have any distortions, so at least a cursory examination suggests no physical damage to the screen. The set appeared to be working normally, but it shut down after about 15 seconds,...
