    Hyundai ImageQuest L70S+

    Hi!
I have this problem with this display "when power cable connected, power button green LED blinking" Nothing happens when button pressed.
    All caps look fine.
    Transistor secondaries differ under 3%
    Big Diodes show:
    ...with 2k ohm function:
D3. .256 back on cathode side, second way it shows .743
D6. .256 back on cathode side, second way it shows .747

On the back of the board there is a place marked F3 - is there a fuse on the front of the board to correspond?

With it all connected up and on ,black probe on ground with the red probe test each pin on the connector to the main board. List what you get
along with what it should be (listed on the back of the board.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

      Re: Hyundai ImageQuest L70S+

F3 fuse is ok. current flows thru - no resistance.

Now about voltages - when video board connected they start jumping -
      12V: 11-18V
      5V:1,5-4,5V
      SLP: 0,00V
      MID: 0,7-2,4V

      When video board not connected:
      12v: 12,24V
      5V: 4,98V
      SLP: 0,00V
      DIM: 2,57V

Do the backlights flash at all
Can you check the voltage on each side of that fuse.
Black lead on ground then red probe on each side of fuse

I'd replace the startup cap if voltages are jumping.

The startup cap is probably the one next to U2

After the set has cooled down switch it on again and try heating that cap with a hairdryer to see if the set comes on quicker

replaced this cap (47uF 50V) with same parameter cap and still same blinking.

both sides 16,12V it droped about 2minutes from 16,4V - same voltage as 12v pin has.

Was that with all boards connected?

On the main board there are two voltage regulators can you test them.
( Haha Up to the same point as in your other thread)

                        U1 (2.5V REG), U2 (3.3V REG)
                        They are OK.

Can you take the resistance reading on the IC2 (Vref Diode, ?? 431)) on the power supply board. Take the reading like this:
                        Pin 1 & 2
                        Pin 1 & 3
                        Pin 2 & 3

Sorry, that will be IC1.You have to test it off the board. I have them here also.
Flat side toward you, legs down.
The readings on all 3 leags combination usinh Ohm meter should be in the Mega Ohms (to over range) range (does not matter how you use red/black probes)

Ok - try a hairdryer on different parts of the board to see if it comes on any quicker

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Assuming...

Ok so this doing my head in and hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be able to assist.

I've got a MacBook Pro 820-2915-A it will power on without the battery connected, but when the battery is connected it will do a 2,3-second fan spin when pressing the power button and then nothing.

After measuring and probing around I found that R7051 was bad, reading high instead of 2.2Ω so I replaced it. Still the same issue, I have the green light on the charger but it won't power on or charge the battery.

So to cut the long story short I've replaced U7000,...

Hello. I have a problem with a PS5 console that I bought to learn electronics repair. The auction description indicated that the console had been dropped. The HDMI port and USB ports were damaged. The HDMI port was replaced by the previous owner, and after his repair, the console worked for 2 days and then became dead. After receiving the console, I replaced all the USB ports. After replacing them, the console started to turn on. On the logo screen, it displays "too many USB devices connected". My further attempts to fix the error involved replacing the Southbridge, 4 TPS2001D chips,...

Hi, I want to ask for advice about an interesting issue I've been having with a sony vaio laptop.

Client came and said that "a desklamp touched the back of the lid while laptop was operating normally and it caused the office's circuit breaker to trip. Laptop had never turned on since".

After taking the laptop apart (checked dc adapter everythin ok), I found a faulty MOSFET on the motherboard which I replaced. Laptop managed to turn on. However, while booting it shut down. Nothing else seemed faulty and thermals were ok. Shutting down was coming at random...

Laptop stays on for only ~10sec when battery is connected, fine otherwise (Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 AMD)

I have a Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G4 AMD (HLXB5 LA-M062P) that, when the battery is connected, starts up and shuts off in about 10 seconds, even when connected to power supply via USB-C charger. When the battery is disconnected, the computer stays on as in normal/expected operation (powered by USB-C charger input). I bought a new battery and see the exact same thing. My conclusion is it is not the battery itself but maybe some circuit or component involved in battery/DC-in crosstalk. I found a schematic but not boardview (request link below - sorry for the formatting, I'm not sure how to make an inline...
