    Li Shin Int'l LSE9901B1250

I have a Mag Innovision monitor that has the external AC adapter mentioned in the title which has gone bad. Is there any way to repair this or should I just purchase a replacement?

It might be as simple as bad caps, many are. Have you cracked it open?

That was my next question. How easy is it to open one of these up?

I managed to crack it open, and all the Caps look good visually, and shockingly are Rubycon.

Definitely not "Rulycon"? What is the output voltage...?

12v DC, 4.16 Amp, 50W are the specs. I'm not sure I can find a safe way to plug it in and test while it's our of the shell.

Did you try heating it up with hair dryer to see if it will put out any DC after warm up? Especially the small startup cap (22~47uf 50v) in the primary side. You will not see any bad sign on the small cap.

I assume you have checked the output cable for continuity, as these can go both open and short circuit with use,and a short will ensure you measure no output ??

Good point Rtech, it may also have ZENER Diode (15~16V) across the output to act as crowbar protection

MacBook Pro M1 Pro Logic Board 820-02100 Mosfet where to purchase?
                      by prodigy83
                      My reference only: TT10141.

Problem: I need to purchase a mosfet chip from board 820-02100 M1 Pro, that is supposed to be Q5820 but according to Digikey, the schematic diagram I sent them, neither are relevant to the actual mosfet specification I sent them. I just basically need to find this mosfet to purchase, I cannot find it anywhere and am hoping someone could point me in the right direction without have to purchase this entire allusive board. Already checked with Digikey, Mouser, Aliexpress, eBay. Any suggestions?

                      Mosfet specs are as follows:

what capacitor should I purchase for LCD display PCB?
                      by chth96
I want to fix Video door phone which works its doorbell but it is not able to display any screen.
So I disassembled its plastic case and I detached FPC film cable from LCD display in order to inspect LCD display's PCB
I measured ESR resistance of all smd capacitor on this PCB and I noticed that there is some SMD capacitor which has high ESR value(48ohm 50V 0.47uf,15 and 28 ohm 50v 3.3uf,10 and 8 ohm 35v 10uf)
I desoldered this 5 suspicious SMD capacitor like below screenshot.

But I cannot identify specification of desoldered...

What capacitor should I purchase for Power Supply of obsolete game consoles?
                      by chth96
                      hello.

I have Sega Saturn and 5 years ago, I recapped all of capacitor in the Power supply, Because At that time, It frequently freezed black screen after SEGA logo displayed.

It hardly ever freezed after I finished to recap all of caps in the power supply.

But Yesterday, It did not show any screen at all and its green power LED constantly blinked.

To my surprise I found that all of two NXH 10v 2200uf capacitors in the secondary area of Power supply have been bulged and It measured 57 mF and 75 mF capacitance.

                      It seems that quality...

I have the laptop mentioned in the title and i am in a bit of a pickle. The laptop Power circuit got fried after someone messed with the charger and the DC input MOSFETS were toasted. I replaced them but now it turns on and works on charger only after bypassing the FETS, they dont turn even though the charger LED is ON. The bettery on the other hand no longer charges at all.

                      After a series of multimeter testing I concluded there is no more short but the BQ24780 chip is looking suspicious to me. Here are some voltage readings i think are relevant;
                      ACN ~ 19.7v
                      ACP ~ 19.7v...
