Re: Acer X233H LCD no power
Assuming you have checked fuses and they are OK, I would do a very quick test on D805 and D806, on the PSU board, and ensure neither are short cct.It may save you a lot of time.

Re: Dell 3007WFP and PA-4151-1-LF Help!!
Apart from Inverter transformers, any other ones in Monitors and Televisions(apart from LOPT's) very rarely fail, and a far as I can remember,I have never had to replace one. That I suspect is the reason you cannot find one on the Internet. As yours is physically damaged by the looks of it,and therefore must be changed,I think your only options are to buy a replacement Board,or another same model faulty Monitor, with maybe a broken screen, and combine the two to make one good one.

Re: Samsung 2253bw black screen
My experience with Inverter transformers,is that the 3% supposed error limit is certainly not sacrsanct !! I have seen many with more than 5% which were not faulty, and others approaching the 10% also. However Samsung ones do seem to fail at the lower levels, for whatever reason, and in various of their Models it is a standard fault...is this one of the Monitors that has the latter ??

Looks like you are getting somewhere now.BUDM has suggested some tests, lets see what happens ??

Re: hanns g hh251 not recognizing input
At the moment, it is still not certain which PCB is faulty, it looks like either the Logic OR the Power Supply.I would determine that,by removing the logic board, plug the lamps into the PSU,fit a 1KΩ resistor between the 5v pin and the on/off pin on the connector, this simulates the voltage you would normally get from the Logic when all is working well. Then apply the AC mains as normal. If the lamps light and stay on then the fault would point to the Logic PCB.If the lamps do not work, then the PSU needs fault finding.

Re: Dell LCD Monitors
I use that Kynar on all my re-wiring of lamps, and it has never failed so far.

Re: Dell LCD Monitors
You need to upload photos of the 2009 Power Supply/Inverter Board,Top and Bottom, good focus.Use 'Go Advanced' below and 'Manage Attachments' to upload the photos.

Re: Dell LCD Monitors
CCFL.s a definite possibility, but could be the inverter part of the cct in the 2009,but red screen on the other normally is the lamps.

Re: BENQ2420 LCD turns off after 2 seconds
diif..Love to know where you got the CCFL's from ??.I am wiating for some from HK at the moment at $1.80 each, but add the Delivery costs and it certainly increases that.
FOR Catsunami, the flashlight trick is not effective in all cases,it depends on quite a few things, so do not worry about it.

Re: LCM-22w2...another story...
So now all you have to do is get some ??...and of course fit them, taking a lot of care as the break very easily.

Re: hp l1950 shuts off after 20 minutes
Please add Country,Mains voltage, and measurements taken on the Connector to the Logic board, while the the Monitor is working and when it goes off, particularly the pin which is marked on/off,or similar, that activates the Lamps, this should normally be approx 3v Dc or more,in both states with a PC signal applied.

Re: LCM-22w2...another story...
One of the ways that you can measure length, is to measure the GLASS part ONLY and add 5MM to account for the sillicone ends. You then get the nearest to that,ENSURING that you err on the shorter side,so that it will not be too big to fit in the screen itself.

Re: LCM-22w2...another story...
I have a list of backlight sizes, that I took off a supplier at one time, and for a 22" Widescreeen they show 480mm x 2.4mm..these will also fit 21.5" and 21.6" monitors.Hope that helps.

Re: Advice for installing aftermarket inverter...
There is a great possibility that the 'hissing; is caused by Backlight/Backlight wiring problems, and not necessarily the inverter.Provided you have the voltage from the main board ,and the Ground on the correct pins, then with the old inverter in and a signal applied from a Pc just look for a voltage of approx 3Volts DC on the On /Off pin,if that is the same pin on the replacement board, then do not wory about the adjust at this stage, just fit it and see if the hissing goes away.

Re: Dell E196FPf
R856 is 15Ω R861 is 470Ω...cannot find the other resistor, check the number...also I am away on holiday today,so hopefully someone will help with other values if necessary.

Re: Stored Dell 2007WFP, now has psu problem.
Monitors which have the same Model number ,regularly have totally different internal Boards,no doubt due to the Manufacturer doing different production runs, and getting the cheapest internal parts they can, usually from different Board producers.
Why are photos required for your Boards ?? well you cannot expect those that want to help (which are many),to trawl theough other posts and identify, where you should look by component number, conector number, cap number etc.And there may well be subtle differences in numbering etc which...

The flashlight 'test' does not work in every case.

First requirement would be photos use Go Advanced and Manage attachments. The more the better, you can see the quality some posters provide.
