    Lg w2253vp

Got another bad monitor in the office. Though this one is just over a year old. The positive side is that this is the only one of these out of the 6 from that purchase.

I think that the pictures can explain the issue better than I can with the first being the lcd in question and the second being what it is suppose to show.

And as always, I really appreciate any help that you all offer. Thanks.

Great - suscon caps are on a per with elite.
First test as befor is to reseat/clean the connecting cables.
Can we assume it has been tested on a different source if it has vga and dvi or hdmi can you try a different input.

Please can you update your profile with country and mains voltage

Sorry, profile updated (US & 120VAC 60Hz), contacts have been cleaned, and you are correct in your assumption. DVI, VGA (different sources), or just system menu all have the same result.

If all monitors are the same type is there any chance of borrowing another one to swap boards - that is the quickest way- to confirm a faulty board. As it stays on it doesnt look like a power supply problem. Its not the backlights nor the inverter. Can you post a picture of the panelboard/tcon may be fixed to the panel and needs careful handling.

Just to check you did do the cable where it fits to the panel

Although I could swap board with another one, I would rather not if possible since people are using them during work. And I did clean/check the signal cable going to the panel.

I believe that here's the pics (though I still don't know what a tcon is )

Ok Great pictures! That is a panel board or Tcon ( I just found out today that
if its on a monitor its called a panel board and if its on a tv its a Tcon)
Anyway in pic 2 near the connector there is a little white rectangle smd with a "k" on it - That is a fuse - can you test it.

Ah, thanks for the explanation, and the fuse seems to be good still at least according to my cheap multimeter.

The fuse should read the same as touching the probes together.

Next time its together something to try - dont think for a minute it will work

Switch on press the menu button and hold it for 10 secs
                Release it
Press Engine and Source buttons at the same time for 5 secs.

It may perform a factory reset.

Or try this blindfold as it were- Perhaps do a dummy run on a working set just to check the fields are where expected.

1 Press the "Menu" button on the right side of the monitor. This will bring up the On Screen Display. If nothing happens when the "Menu" button is pressed, press and hold it for several seconds to unlock the On Screen Display.

2Scroll through the menu options by using the up and down arrow buttons located just under the "Menu" button. Scroll down to the "Setup" icon, which looks like a big cog. Press the "Auto/Set" button to access the Setup menu.

3Scroll, using the down arrow, to "Factory Reset." This setting is located at the bottom of the Setup menu.
4 Press the "Auto/Set" button to choose "Factory Reset" and then press the down arrow to reset the monitor.

Have you verified you're getting 5V output from the power supply? If yes, then try measuring the output of the voltage regulators IC602 and IC603 on the logic board (last photo in post #1) .

Do you still have the old caps, if you have the pictures of the board (both sides) then I may be able to tell you what location they should be in, just make sure the pictures are clear enough for me to trace out the connections.

                        My reference only: TT10141.

Problem: I need to purchase a mosfet chip from board 820-02100 M1 Pro, that is supposed to be Q5820 but according to Digikey, the schematic diagram I sent them, neither are relevant to the actual mosfet specification I sent them. I just basically need to find this mosfet to purchase, I cannot find it anywhere and am hoping someone could point me in the right direction without have to purchase this entire allusive board. Already checked with Digikey, Mouser, Aliexpress, eBay. Any suggestions?

                        Mosfet specs are as follows:

I want to fix Video door phone which works its doorbell but it is not able to display any screen.
So I disassembled its plastic case and I detached FPC film cable from LCD display in order to inspect LCD display's PCB
I measured ESR resistance of all smd capacitor on this PCB and I noticed that there is some SMD capacitor which has high ESR value(48ohm 50V 0.47uf,15 and 28 ohm 50v 3.3uf,10 and 8 ohm 35v 10uf)
I desoldered this 5 suspicious SMD capacitor like below screenshot.

Lenovo T470P NM-B071P not charging, 20 volts on positive +ve battery terminal
                        by Zibbo
Lenovo T470P NM-B071P had no power. PQ2 and PQ11 were shorted, repaced them and laptop turned ON. Connected the battery and the motherboard turned off immediately and it won't charge, checked the voltages and found out that there is 20v on the positive battery terminal.
Replaced battery charger IC PU101 and the two switching mosfets PQ101 and PQ102 and still same problem. Now I can't figure out how 20v is ending up on the battery terminals.

What capacitor should I purchase for Power Supply of obsolete game consoles?

                        hello.

I have Sega Saturn and 5 years ago, I recapped all of capacitor in the Power supply, Because At that time, It frequently freezed black screen after SEGA logo displayed.

It hardly ever freezed after I finished to recap all of caps in the power supply.

But Yesterday, It did not show any screen at all and its green power LED constantly blinked.

To my surprise I found that all of two NXH 10v 2200uf capacitors in the secondary area of Power supply have been bulged and It measured 57 mF and 75 mF capacitance.

                        It seems that quality...

                        Inverter Charger architecture question
                        by SoulFreeze
Hello all, I have a mastervolt charger inverter I'm trying to repair, as I have no schematics I decided to trace our some of the parts to figure out the general operation.
I managed to trace our a rough block diagram of the power stage, and I'm quite interested in the operation.

                        Here are my questions.
I noticed there seems to be no dedicated charging section in the circuit. After some googling I assume this is what they called a bidirectional power design. Would like to know if my assumption of the operation are right.
Given that there are no diodes. I am assuming...
