Before getting distracted with capacitors, look for obvious shorted/open semiconductors, and open resistors in the power output section. You may eventually replace a capacitor or two, but unless they have leaked out onto the board, there is little chance of causing amplifier damage. My personal approach is to fix what is broken. I dislike throwing parts into a unit for no reason. Just my personal approach.
