We are sorry that we cannot provide the circuit diagram of the UV-16 PRO radio. Due to some restrictions and confidentiality policies, we cannot publicly disclose the detailed circuit design and internal composition of the product. This is to protect our intellectual property and trade secrets.

If I had the schematic, I would certainly share it with you. The nature of Chinese electronic devices is, no matter the cost, the circuit info is sparse, and no schematic or even block diagrams are normally shared for fear of being copied and undersold. I wish I had a more pleasant answer.

Is there any space in the unit to insert a generic 2S li-ion charging board?

I asked for a full schematic or a service manual, its a tight space, i was thinking that maybe if i can find an SOP23-5 capsule that its doing the same thing but not with the pins in the right order i can manage to wire it but for a charging board i will have to do some space measurements.

china has strict copywrite laws but they dont apply if your product isnt registered.
the u.s. company "Megatouch" had the chinese police raid several companies for copying stuff.
they where smart enough to register their products.

a u.s. patent isnt worth shit in Asia or Europe.
