Man what a learning experience this is.I put new LED lamps in. I cleaned the switch real good with deoxit. I had to bring out the length of the fuse holder. I added a piece of wire underneath the screw and screwed it down tight. Fuse is held very well. All fuses show continuity. I wonder if the resister is not good that is connected to the power coming in side of the fuse? I do get a wierd AC reading when checking it like 5.0 or some such number. I put all the wires for speaker output exactly where they go. I put the jumpers exactly where they go. Would putting new lamps in cause it to not work? I wouldn't think so since it worked fine when 4 of them were bad. I'm at a loss. I appeal to anyone who can help me figure this out. I was so looking forward to hearing some music. Thanks all Cheers!.

by SolomonManAll,
Some of you have helped me in the past and I am very appreciative of all the help! (I have fixed TVs/Stereos/ and other small appliances with your efforts...Thanks so much!!!
Today I went to a local HAM Radio Festival. It was one of the smaller ones in our area. My stepfather is the HAM operator. I tinker in electronics but am a Software Programmer (27 years now).
I was looking for a few odds and ends for some electronics work I have to do for the household/farm. Typically these type of shows have the grab bags or a electronics vendor... -
by KYBOSHPicked this one up today.
In addition to falling LED diffusers there is a single line here that maybe a deal breaker.
From my reading on these boards it is said that the issue is likely a sign of failed tab drivers, ribbons or tab bonding to the panel.
Wanted to get a 2nd opinion from you guys before I gave up the ghost.
Great looking TV otherwise.
Is there any tricks I can do to try to save this one?
If so, i'll gladly order a set of backlights and save this one from the landfill..
Thanks in advance

by fixitforfreeI have two Boards BN41-02568B for a UE55MU6179 of which one does produce a good picture (Board A) but can not save its configuration (even a factory reset will not work) and one board which produces a distorted picture (Board B). Learning from here the IC1604 saves the configuration of such a TV.
Before replacing the IC1604 from Board B to Board A - would that actually solve the problem from Board A not being able to store its configuration or could there be something else wrong with writing to the flashrom? Is it even the right chip to replace or should I look out for a different... -
Hi.
I bought a Cheap HIFI to use as my PC output and speakers and forgot to check if it had an input. It doesn't.
Is there any way to add a stereo input. I have a bunch of Phono sockets I am not using.
Where in the circuit is the best place to solder the 3 stereo input wires?
This is the model and schematics:

by ConsteHello together,
I have a Clevo W25CEW (Terra 1541) with some strange symptoms:
1. I cannot save Bios settings by pressing "save settings" in the bios. By pressing "save & exit" it will save the settings.
2. I can boot normally (UEFI installation), but when I shut the machine down and start it after a few seconds again it will show resume from hibernation and shutdown after POST, just before windows would boot. Then it will go back to factory settings and my UEFI installation will not boot!
Already changed the CMOS battery... - Loading...
